The5ers $100K evaluation: the rules, what binds first, and the modeled pass odds

Corpus last verified 2026-07-31 · rules hash 2b5adcf3e016e93c · generated 2026-09-03T02:12:59.969Z · rules/the5ers/100000.json

The5ers' own published $100K rules, run against 3 disclosed trader profiles through src/lib/state-conditional-mc.js at 25,000 seeded paths each — the same engine that powers the free simulator.

Direct answer

For the Steady Scaler profile (a 50% win rate, 1.5R-average-win trader risking 1% of equity per trade), the modeled funded probability on The5ers' $100K program is 73.3% ± 0.3% SE, binding on the daily loss limit.

Why it matters
Because the daily loss limit is what most often ends a modeled run on this program, pacing risk within a single day — smaller size per trade, spreading entries across more days — does more for pass odds here than one large push toward the target.

Calculation / result
Seeded Monte Carlo, 25,000 paths, seed 3381819652 / 3202956081 — src/lib/state-conditional-mc.js.
Limitation
Modeled for one disclosed trader profile, not a prediction of any individual's outcome; not a ranking or comparison of firms.

What the rules mean

The5ers models a static drawdown floor at 10% of the account. A 5% daily loss limit applies. Funding requires clearing both Phase 1 and Phase 2 — the composed probability multiplies the two independent pass probabilities.

Ambiguities we found

phases[0].profit_target_pct — affects how this page models the rule.
Two variants sold: New High Stakes (Phase 1 10%) is the current default; Classic (8%). Conservative = higher target = harder = higher ruin = 10 (also the default).
Conservative reading used: 10
phases[0].daily_loss.reset_time_utc — affects how this page models the rule.
Targeted recheck (batch 4, 2026-07-31): two fresh independent readers converged on the same underlying fact, framed differently. The5ers High Stakes program page states 5% daily loss but no reset hour on its own; the FAQ (What are the general rules for the High Stakes Program?) gives 00:00 UTC+3; a SEPARATE FAQ (max-loss article) explicitly defines the programs own MT5 Server Time as "GMT+2 winter time or GMT+3 summer time" - i.e. this is the SAME seasonal DST ambiguity already modeled for Topstep (CDT/CST) and FTMO (CET/CEST), not a genuine self-contradiction. GMT+2 winter -> 00:00 local = 22:00 UTC (matches our held value exactly). GMT+3 summer -> 00:00 local = 21:00 UTC.
Conservative reading used: 22:00

Binding rule

Across the 3 modeled archetypes, the binding constraint is usually the daily loss limit, but not for every profile — for the Steady Scaler profile it accounts for 13.8% of simulated paths in Phase 1. The daily loss limit eliminates more paths than the overall drawdown floor or the time window.
