The rule is visible before the fee.

Citable answer

PropSurvival exists so a trailing drawdown or a consistency clause is a number against your own trades before you pay the evaluation fee. Each of the 59 firm pages in the live corpus is read twice, on dated passes kept separate — and 46 currently await re-verification where the cited passage is gone at source. Gaps print "not recorded", never a guess. Every correction is dated and public on the changelog. Questions: support@propsurvival.com — a real inbox.

Why it exists

An evaluation fee is charged while the rule is still prose on a firm's site. Trailing drawdown, a consistency clause, a daily-loss reset — published, but not yet a number against your trades. The shape of the constraint arrives after the money has moved. PropSurvival reverses that order: run your own inputs against the written rule, locally, before the fee.

How the numbers are made

The simulation engine and the rule corpus are built by the same operation — not a scraped leaderboard, not a forum table, not a marketing summary of someone else's list. How a field is sourced, labelled, and rechecked is on research-methodology.

Verification is two-pass and dated. A firm's own page is read and stored with the date. Later the same page is re-read from scratch without looking at the stored value, then compared. Agreement advances the confirmation date. Disagreement is the record. When a fact cannot be sourced, the field prints "not recorded" rather than a plausible fill-in. Nothing uploads — the run stays on your machine. That method covers the live corpus of 59 firm rule sets across 243 account-size configurations, with the newest corpus-wide last-checked date 2026-09-08. Per-field dated receipts stay on the changelog — the same receipt the rest of the site uses.

The method governs what the numbers may say. PropSurvival is an independent simulator of published evaluation rules — not a prop firm, not a broker, not signals, not investment advice. No rankings. No affiliation. No outcome, pass, or payout promises.

How fresh the data actually is

As of 2026-09-08, PropSurvival's own freshness check flags 46 of its 59 tracked firm rule sets as "cited passage no longer found at source" — the exact wording originally quoted from that firm's page can no longer be located there today, most often because the firm redesigned, moved, or rewrote its site. That does not mean the stored rule value is wrong; it means re-verification against the live page is pending for those 46, and "pending" is recorded honestly rather than hidden. Re-verification is an ongoing process, never a one-time check — a rule's honest status is "checked previously, recheck pending," not "verified today," until its next dated read confirms or corrects it.

Want to see it work rather than read about it — run your own trade history against a firm's published rules, free, at the simulator; nothing uploads. Prefer the mechanism first — provenance, confidence labels, and dated verification records are at research-methodology.
