Personal rule set

Part of The business you're entering in the PropSurvival glossary — defined the way the engine actually measures it.

Product term · no plottable mechanicPersonal rule set
A trader's own stated risk rules — typically a maximum drawdown (the one required field), and optionally a daily loss stop, a profit goal, a time horizon and a ruin threshold — run through the same Monte Carlo engine used for a firm's published rules, but naming no firm. The result is reported as constraint-status language (the share of simulated paths that respect every rule stated) rather than a pass/fail verdict. Modeling one is free, at the same accuracy as any firm preset, at the personal rule editor. A paid, dated document built from the same run — the Personal Case File — is in preparation and not yet on sale.constraint-status = share of simulated paths that respect every stated rule
